Back in February I had the honor of working with the lovely Miss. A. for an exclusive, angel wings boudoir experience. She totally rocked her shoot and our blush pink couture angel wings looked like they were made for her!

Why did you decide to do a boudoir shoot?
I was interested in trying out a new experience. I have never had professional pictures of myself taken and I was really excited to try it. I also felt like I needed a little confidence boost. I’ve always had issues with my self-esteem and recent health issues have added to that, so it was nice to feel confident in myself!
How did you feel before your session?
I was very nervous before my session, but the great conversation and welcoming environment really helped to ease my nerves.
Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Emilee compare to your prior experience?
I have never done a boudoir shoot before, but this experience was absolutely amazing!
What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?
The best part was just having fun and laughing throughout the whole experience. Emilee is great at making you feel welcomed and comfortable. I wouldn’t change anything about the experience.
How did you feel after your boudoir experience?
I felt incredible afterwards! I saw myself in a different light and getting to see the final pictures I was in awe. I couldn’t believe that the pictures were me. It was one of the first times where I saw myself and didn’t see anything that I didn’t like or wanted to change.
What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story:
It really made me feel so much more confident in myself. I was heavily bullied about my appearance in middle and high school, so I really didn’t have a lot of confidence growing up. I actually developed some pretty severe anxiety because of the amount of bullying I experienced which I still deal with today. This shoot made me realize that even though I may not look like models and actresses on tv, I am still beautiful in my own way!

If you have received your order or seen your images, how do your images make you feel?
I did get to see my images at the end of the session and I was in complete awe. They were absolutely stunning and I cannot wait to get my order!
What would you say to a friend who was looking to book a boudoir experience but was hesitant?
I would tell them to do it! It’s a once in a lifetime experience and I really think every woman should try it at least once. It doesn’t matter what you size or shape is; this experience is for everyone and every woman deserves to feel sexy and happy!

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?
My experience went above and beyond what I was expecting. Since I had never done one before I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but just being able to feel comfortable and confident in my own skin was more than enough for me.
As of writing this post on May 4th, 2021, Miss A. picked up her images today and she was smiling from ear to ear despite just having her wisdom teeth pulled! That's pretty happy! I think it's safe to say she loved her album and wall art and will enjoy these stunning images for a very long time!
