Save Money On Your Portrait Experience: A How To Guide

I'll be the first person to tell you that doing a portrait session of any kind is an investment worth making. You absolutely get what you pay for in this industry, and I do recommend quality over quantity. However, I know that as worthy of an investment as it is, it's a big investment, so I wanted to share some tips with you on how to save on your portrait experience; whether it's for boudoir or any other genre of photography.

Join Your Photographer's VIP Group!

This is where it's at. If your photographer has a VIP group on Facebook like I do, send a request to join! You don't have to be a client yet to join most VIP groups. Photographers are usually most active in these private groups so you can ask them questions and ask their past clients questions too. The other great thing about being in the VIP group is this is usually where most photographers will post their upcoming sales and promotional offers first, so you'll get first access.

Make sure to interact often. Members who comment and post a lot might win a random gift certificate or free session! You never know! Don't wait if you see a sale though, the more active a group is, the faster their calendar will fill up so if you see a good deal, grab it while you can especially around Black Friday!

You can join my Facebook VIP group here.

Sign Up For Their Email List

An email list is another place you'll want to be, so you're always up to date on the latest. Some photographers will offer exclusive deals to their email list only, so be on the look out! I offer my waiting list only to my email list so they're the first to know if a last minute date opens up at a super low price!
